Keynote Speakers:
Jeff Buchanan is the Senior Director of Church Equipping for Exodus International, Jeff Buchanan oversees the Exodus Church Association and assists pastors in dealing with one of the most crucial issues facing the global church today — homosexuality. Jeff’s own experience as a Christian who struggled with same-sex attraction gives him unique insight into this issue. In addition, he has spent more than ten years in church ministry as a mentor to countless young men seeking freedom from homosexuality and as an Associate Pastor at New Song Christian Fellowship in Tennessee. Jeff has been interviewed by many media outlets across the nation including ABC’s Los Angeles television station, KABC-TV, “Today in LA” with NBC Los Angeles affiliate KNBC, CBN News, National Public Radio, New Man eMagazine and bestselling author Rick Warren’s web site Pastors.com. He a graduate of the University of Colorado holds a Masters Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University. He and his wife, Angela, make their home in Orlando, Florida.
Paulette Lawrence is the president of A Good Thing Out Of Nazareth, Inc. (AGTOON), a non-profit support recovery program based in the Atlanta area that specializes in helping Believers walk in wholeness from homosexuality, bi-sexuality, male prostitution, and the shame of being sexually abused. Ms. Lawrence has first-hand experience of what it’s like to live with same-sex attraction; after living 17 years in homosexuality, she gave her life to Christ. Ms. Lawrence is a bold speaker, teacher, and leader who, for the past 11 years and counting, has dedicated her life to come alongside those who desire to overcome sexual brokenness while developing leaders to do the same. Paulette is also a group counselor and prayer minister. She has conducted training seminars for church leaders and counselors and has served as a speaker and panel member at church seminars, conferences, workshops and college campuses across the globe. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Michael Todd Wilson, MS, LPC began his career in the world of business consulting before returning to graduate school to pursue a second career in counseling. He earned a Masters in Counseling from Georgia State University along with a Certificate in Christian Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute. He has been in professional practice for over 15 years. He has inpatient treatment experience with Charter, Rapha, Minirth-Meier New Life Clinics and Florida Hospital. MT transitioned into private practice in Central Florida in 1998 where he worked until his relocation to the Atlanta area in 2004.
MT is co-founder of the Intimacy Counseling Center in Suwanee, Georgia, along with Dr. Doug Rosenau, Dr. Michael Sytsma and Vickie George and founded Intentional Hearts in 2007. He also serves as director and co-founder of ShepherdCare, a nonprofit ministry which seeks to provide support and training for ministers while promoting health and long-term effectiveness in ministry.
